Why Zascha Hair?
The world is waiting for beautiful hair. At least, we are genuinely convinced it is. And not because beautiful hair is going to save or improve the world, but because it will give a boost of confidence to the people that are. Our clip-ins are the cherry on top of our happiness in daily life.
Marlieke started working on Zascha Hair in 2011 at her kitchen table after having ordered clip-in extensions abroad.
A beautiful product. And since real human haired clip-in extensions were barely available in the Netherlands back then, it seemed to be exactly what many women were waiting for. Thanks to Marlieke’s growing curiosity, we’ve been able to add permanent extensions to our assortment as well.
Making people happy with big, voluminous hair, extra long locks or a beautiful artistic updo is what gives us the greatest pleasure.
The hair comes from India, where it is donated in temples as part of a religious ritual. The temples sell the donated hair to sustain their way of living. The hair is not only used for our extensions, but also to make wigs for people without hair.

I’m Marlieke, the owner of Zascha Hair. I’m so excited that you’re checking out my website! I handle marketing, purchasing/product development, and everything else that comes with running a webshop.
We’re always working hard to improve and expand Zascha. For instance, we’ve partnered with other brands, moved from a small attic space to a real office, and grown into a team of four women who are just as passionate about the brand as I am. Together, we do everything we can to make sure you feel amazing—with a little extra hair or just great service. Happy shopping!

Since 2018, I’ve had the pleasure of working with Zascha as one of my clients. I met Marlieke when I was preparing for a Miss competition. Looking back, I’m not entirely sure why I participated—the nerves were overwhelming! When Mar asked if I wanted to wear Zascha Hair for the show, I was blown away by the confidence boost I got. It’s amazing to see (and feel) how much hair can do for you!
I didn’t win the Miss competition, but I did get the opportunity to work with Zascha on a project basis. My tasks include updating the website, writing product descriptions/blogs, and helping out wherever needed. By providing you with the best information possible and making everything run as efficiently as I can, I hope to create an unforgettable online shopping experience!
Ineke, The Hairstylist
I’ve been in love with Zascha Hair extensions since I started out as a Bridal Hairstylist in 2020. Both my brides and me get very excited about the confidence we feel when wearing Zascha’s beautiful long locks. When I got to know the ladies behind the brand, I knew I’d feel right at home in this amazing team! As a jack-of-all-trades I’ll keep myself busy with the customer service, the translation of the website (yes, former English teacher over here!) and a little social media.
Apart from our regular customers, I hope to also provide advice in choosing the right extensions for hairstylists and brides-to-be with my knowledge in Bridal Hair. Let’s make your hair dreams come true!
The Sunshine of the Office, Ilham
Hi! I’m Ilham, and alongside my Applied Psychology studies, I’m proud to be part of Team Zascha with lots of love and enthusiasm. My first encounter with Zascha was quite some time ago—Marlieke once asked me to drop off some packages for her when she was feeling unwell. Why me? Because we’re neighbors! During a photoshoot, I got to meet the rest of the team, without realizing that a year later, they would become my ‘colleagues’ (in quotes, because it doesn’t feel like work at all!). I was quite nervous at first, but Zascha is filled with warmth and positivity, making me feel at home right away. I know firsthand how much confidence a Good Hair Day can bring, and I truly believe that everyone deserves to feel their most beautiful and powerful self. That’s why I’m here to help you with all your questions about our products! Let’s shine together—inside and out!
Office Cat Kimmy
Possibly the most important member of Zascha Hair: Kimmie, the office cat. Anytime there’s even the slightest bit of stress, we can cuddle it all away!
Kim also makes sure we take our breaks on time. Her method? Simply lying on your mouse or keyboard—nothing is more effective! Her always-hungry personality also keeps us moving, whether it’s grabbing food, treats, or water.

Finance Hero, Jasper
Jasper is our administrative do-it-all. He keeps track of the bookkeeping, receipts and excel sheets so that we can focus on the fun stuff!
