We have had the bangs in our assortment before, but if you’ve been following us for a while, you know that we strive for perfection, and this product is no exception 🙂 Behold our revamped clip-in fringe! Woohoo!

What’s new?

This clip-in fringe is also made of 100% remy human hair and has 3 clips to securely attach it in your desired position. The revamped part lies in the hand-knotted base, which is practically invisible when placed against your own root. Since the hair is 100% human hair, it can be dyed darker to seamlessly match your natural roots. However, please note that dyeing the hair lighter is not possible. If you’re unsure, you can test the dye on a sample. The colors are equal to our hair extension sets. The fringe is already styled in a certain way, but there is enough hair to customize it to your preference or have it trimmed to frame your face. 💜

How do you place it?

Easy breezy: ✩ Place it on your head to see where you want to secure it. ✩ Open the 3 clips and snap them shut when it’s in the desired spot and has a good grip. When you’re completely in love with the fringe, and you’re sure you want to keep it, you can of course remove the plastic hygiene piece from between the clips! ✩ Style! For the best effect, you can trim it to your liking. Tip of the day! Get your fringe trimmed by a hairdresser or someone who has a degree in hair. From experience, we know that your own hair is often dangerously close, and it’s hard to distinguish from the fringe. Before you know it, you’ll have a fringe in your own hair… oops.

Do you have naturally smooth hair, or does the fringe not stay in place perfectly? Then you can apply a bit of dry shampoo or volumizing powder to the area where the clips are placed; this provides some extra grip. Are you going to a festival or planning to dance like no one is watching? Tease the roots a little, and your fringe won’t budge at all!

How do you take care of your fringe?

Since the fringe is also made of 100% human hair, you can wash it as described in this blog. If you wear the fringe frequently, we recommend washing it a bit more often. Other than that, you can treat it just like your own hair!

Combining…

Kun je leren! Jawel!

Because the roots of your hair often have a lot of diverse colors, there are many tricks to make the fringe blend as perfectly as possible. We also have a variety of mixed colors which also helps:) Here are some additional tips to make it blend as seamlessly as possible:

  1. If the fringe is just slightly too light, you can wash it with a color shampoo or color mask from brands like Kruidvat or Etos.
  2. If your fringe is slightly too warm compared to the rest of your hair color, you can also wash it with purple shampoo. You can read how to do this in this blog.
  3. Missing a darker root in your fringe? Try a root spray! You can also find this at Kruidvat or Etos.

If you’re not entirely sure which color is the perfect match for you, feel free to ask us for help anytime. Don’t hesitate to send a chat message or an email. Of course, you can also reach out to us on Facebook or WhatsApp at 085-2250281. We’d love to help!

Big hair is never out of fashion! This is something Lily CollinsAdele and of course Ariana Grande (and many many many more) proof by bringing back the BIG ponytail from the 60’s. This look is a little more difficult to create with your clip-in set, or volumizer. Because, how do you make sure you won’t see any clips with this hairdo, and how will you get that full glam ponytail? This is where the clip-in ponytail comes into play! Sit back and relax, because in this blog we explain everything you need to know about the ponytail step by step:).

What is a clip-in ponytail?

The Zascha Hair Ponytail is a 100 gram full ponytail and is 50cm (20″) long. Attached to this piece is a pin with wide teeth, which ensures that the ponytail stays securely in place. The ponytail also has a loose strand of hair for a beautiful finish at the root. You simply place the ponytail over your own ponytail, making it super easy to install! The ponytail is suitable for thin to normal hair.

What is the Ponytail made of?

Just like our clip in extensions, the ponytail is made from 100% double drawn human hair. This means the tail is full from root to ends. Because the ponytail is made of real human hair you can consider it as your own hair. You can style it, curl it, wash it, and even dye it darker. The roots of the ponytail are finished with high quality lace, and a metal pin with wide teeth for lots of hold in your own hair without damaging it.

The top edge of the ponytail is finished with velcro. Super convenient, so you can adjust the tail to different thicknesses of hair! We also use multi-tone coloring, which ensures a nice match with your own hair color, even if it differs slightly from the extensions. On the picture you see the Melted Blonde Ponytail.

How to use

Here we go. You’re all set, you’ve styled the ponytail as desired, and you’re ready to place it. What do you need: A Zascha Hair ponytail (duh), some bobbypins, elastics, preferably non-plastic, and a product for some firmness in your hair. Placing the ponytail is relatively easy, just like the clip ins, you just need to get the hang of it. Whatever hair type you have, it is important that you make sure you make a good firm ponytail with your own hair first. This can be done in different ways:

1 You can apply mousse in your hair and blow dry it well. This is a good method if you’re making a low ponytail. 2 You can tease the roots of your hair. You can use volume powder. 4 You can use multiple rubber bands (no more than 3)

It depends on the method you personally find comfortable for your hair type. After that, you can style your ponytail as desired to make it blend nicely with the texture of your hair. Once you’re completely satisfied with your ponytail, you can secure it. -Unfold the ponytail and slide the teeth of the hairpin between your scalp and the elastic. Make sure the teeth are fully inserted. -Then, tightly wrap the Velcro around your ponytail. -Next, wrap the loose strand around your ponytail. You can secure this loose strand with one or two bobbypins underneath the ponytail. The only thing left to do now is to check if everything is to your liking and finish it off with some hairspray if desired.

Inspiration

You can style the ponytail in various ways. High, low, single tail, double tails, straight, curled, messy – the possibilities are endless! Below, we will provide a brief explanation of the most popular ways to wear it.

The low ponytail

Important for this hairstyle is to have enough support in your hair to create volume at the roots. You can achieve this by using dry shampoo, volumizing powder, or teasing. 1: Start by teasing the crown of your hair at the center of your head. 2: Work your way down and create a low ponytail at the nape of your neck. If needed, gently brush the hair to smooth it out and avoid frizz. 3: Secure the ponytail using the above-mentioned instructions. 4: Curl the ponytail and your own hair as desired, including your front pieces (face framing). (You can also curl before placing the ponytail, whichever you prefer). 5: Spray a small amount of hairspray to ensure your hair shines all day long!

The high ponytail

This beautiful look was created by Sandra Bierens & Chantal van Dalen. It is also very important here, that you have created enough firmness and grip in your hair, for example, by using mousse.

  1. Separate the hair in 2 sections and create a ponytail on your crown with the bottom section.
  2. Take the top section of your hair, make sure it is tight and smooth at the front, and tie it together with the ponytail you have created from the bottom section. Use a second hair elastic for this.
  3. Place the ponytail as mentioned above.
  4. By using a (special) comb or toothbrush, you can style the baby hairs around your hairline as desired. Use a gentle wax or gel for this.
  5. Straighten the ponytail as well as your own hair.
  6. Use a hairspray to set in place for the rest of the day.

Are you more of a visual person? In the video below, Sabrina Dijkman demonstrates how to easily create a low ponytail.

Taking care of your ponytail

Because the ponytails are made of the same quality as our clip-ins, we recommend caring for them in the same way. This blog provides many tips, tricks, and a detailed explanation.

Help with choice

Hopefully we have been able to get you excited so you are eager to order a ponytail. Important when choosing the right color is that the ponytail matches the area where you want to place it. If you plan on wearing it higher on your head, you should look at the color of the roots of your hair. Of course you can always ask for help if you can’t really figure it out by yourself. Feel free to send us a chat massage or an email to info@zascha.nl. Of course you can also contact us through Facebook or send us a whatsapp at 085-2250281! We’d love to help!

Because Zascha Hair extensions are made of 100% real human hair, you can treat it like your own hair. You can wash (preferably not too often), curl & straighten them and even dye them darker. In this blog we’ll share all the ins and outs about straightening and curling your clip-in extensions! You can also use these methods on our other products such as the Ponytail, V-part and Bun. In most cases it’s easier to place the product first and style as desired after.

Straightening your clip-in extensions

When you first wash your extensions, you might think, ‘Hmm, that looks different.’ Don’t worry! With a few handy tricks, you can have your set looking just like you would expect from us. Before styling, apply a few drops of oil/heat protector to the ends and let them air dry, for example on a clothes hanger. Be careful not to use too much oil as it can weigh down the hair, making it difficult to style. One product we are absolutely obsessed with is the Alterna Dry Oil Mist. It’s a heat protector that adds extra shine without weighing down the hair.

Set your styling tool (curling iron or straightener) to a maximum of 220 degrees Celsius. The hotter your styling tool is, the more it damages your hair and shortens the lifespan of your set. Even worse, it can damage your natural hair! While waiting for the styling tool to heat up, apply a heat-protective spray on the entire set, from roots to ends. For the best result, work on one section at a time. Take a section of about 3 to 5 cm and comb it through thoroughly. Place the straightener at the roots and slowly, in one smooth motion, glide it downward. Repeat if necessary until the entire set is nicely straightened. Then, style your own hair as well to blend it seamlessly with the extensions and create a beautiful finish. Result: Zascha Hair extensions, gorgeous, shiny, and healthy locks!

Curling your 100% human hair clip-in extensions

There are just as many different types of curls as there are people. By using various curling irons, you can create different types of curls.

Which curling iron do I need?

The larger the diameter of the curling iron, the looser the curl. If you desire Beach Waves (a curl that is highly suitable for long extensions), it’s best to use a curling iron with a 32mm (1 1/4″ barrel). The thicker the hair section, the bigger the curl. Good to know: Large and loose curls may have a tendency to drop faster.

The curling iron we use most often is the 25mm (1″) one. With this curling iron, you can create most types of curls and also manipulate the curls effectively while ensuring they hold well. This iron produces a medium-sized curl.

If you have natural, small curls or if you want to create them for a special occasion, the 19mm (3/4″) curling iron is excellent for achieving that look.

Okay, but how do you achieve the perfect curl that stays in place for a long time without losing its bounce, regardless of which curling iron you use? We’ll explain it to you!

Curling before placing

You can also curl your extensions before placing them. It’s super convenient if you don’t have much time in the morning and can do it the night before. (This is also very suitable for people who already have natural curls.) It’s best to curl the clip-in extensions while they are hanging. You can do this, for example, using a clothes hanger. Use a heat protector and take sections of about 2 to 3 cm, combing them through thoroughly. Start curling at the roots of the hair and wrap the rest of the weft around the curling iron. Leave it on for 5 to 10 seconds, depending on the thickness of the weft. You can gently touch the curl with your finger to check if it’s getting warm, but be careful not to burn yourself!

Then slide the curl off the curling iron and catch it with your hand to let it cool down for a moment. You can then secure it with a bobby pin or clip. This allows the curl to cool down without immediately losing its shape (just like on your own head!).

Repeat this process with all the wefts. Once all the wefts have cooled down, carefully remove the bobby pins or clips. And there you have it, a perfect curl with long-lasting bounce! Once you’ve removed all the clips from your set, you can gently start placing your extensions. You can do it in your own way, or you can follow the Zascha method (check out this blog). Now, you might be wondering about hairspray. Yes, you can definitely use it! When spraying your hair, make sure to hold the spray about 15 cm (6″) away from the weft to avoid creating stiff sections in the curl. Girl, you’re ready! Whether it’s a day of hard work at the office or a night of clubbing and pub-hopping with your besties, you’re ready to leave and turn heads 😉

The Zascha Hair Clip-in Bun

We have another very exciting exclusive product! The Zascha Hair Clip in Bun! But don’t be misled by its name, because there’s something else this bun is very suitable for. Keep reading and find out!

A full bun in no time.

The Zascha Hair clip-in Bun consists of 100% human hair, 3 bobby pins, a drawcord, and lace. These are all the ingredients you need to make a beautiful, full, but above all, firm bun. The bun is well suited for thin and/or short hair. Your own hair should be long enough to create a good ponytail or bun. If you have previously purchased Zascha Hair extensions, you will notice that the hair on the bun feels a little stiffer. There’s no need to worry, we have pre-treated the hair to make sure your bun is always prepped and ready to be styled. We also provide 3 sturdy bobby pins with the bun for free, which you can use to create a bun to your liking.

How do I place the bun?

Just like with the other extensions, it is important that you have enough grip at the roots of your hair.

  1. Before making a bun with your own hair at the desired spot, apply some volumizing powder or dry shampoo at the roots of your hair.
  2. Next, make a firm bun of your own hair or a ponytail if your hair isn’t long enough. It’s best to use 2 elastics for extra firmness.
  3. Slide the first pin of the bun in your hair between the elastic and your scalp. If you have thicker hair, you can also slide in the other pins.
  4. Pull the cord tightly, and if necessary, slide in the other pins.
  5. Style or curl the bun as desired and secure it with bobby pins OR leave the hair down and wear it as a full ponytail (BONUS!!)
  6. Style the rest of your hair as desired, spray some hairspray and girl… you are ready to rumble!

Taking care of the clip-in Bun.

Because the hair of the Clip-in Bun is 100% human hair, you can consider it as your own hair. The more you wash and style it, the more the quality will decrease. Therefore, it is important to take good care of the bun. We recommend using a heat protector before styling and curling. We are huge fans of the Dry Oil Mist. This is a heat protector and a hair care product in one. Do not use too much, as the hair may become too silky, making it difficult to style. Are you curious about how to best wash the bun? Read more about it in our wash blog!

Choose your color

We carry the bun in all the colors from our assortment, including mixed colors. This is very convenient because it allows the bun to blend quickly and seamlessly with your own hair. When choosing the right color, it’s important to ensure that the bun matches the placement you have in mind. If you plan to wear it high, it’s best to look at the color of your roots. If you’re not sure which color is the perfect match for you, you can always ask for our help. Feel free to send a chat message or an email to info@zascha.nl. You can also contact us via Facebook or send us a WhatsApp message at 085-2250281. We love to help!

Exclusively at Zascha Hair: the V-part!

It may not be very classy to admit, but we at Zascha love it easy. We’re always looking for products that are easy to use so that they’re accessible to as many people as possible. But easy also has to be good. That’s why we’re extremely excited about this product. The Zascha Hair V-part. In this blog, we’ll tell you everything you need to know about the V-part, including how to use it, how to take care of it, and how to choose the right color.

Good To Know: We want to help you as best as we can, and we understand that buying a hairpiece can be a hurdle. That’s why it’s good to know that as long as the tag is still attached to the V-part and it’s in new condition, you can return it to us if it’s not entirely to your liking. We will then refund your full purchase amount.

What is a V-part and what is it made of?

This hairpiece in the shape of a ‘V’ is easy to place and adds volume in the crown area. The V-part is made of 100% human hair, is double drawn, and perfect if you have fine/thin hair. From crown to ends, the V-part is 50cm (20″) long, but because you place it on your crown, it can be compared to a 40cm (16″) set. It reaches just over your chest and weighs 100g. The base of the V-part is hand-knotted, creating a very natural-looking part and virtually invisible when properly placed. The hair is tied onto high-quality lace, ensuring that the V-part is comfortable and doesn’t itch. Are you ready to V-AVAVOOM??

Placing the V-part

The V-part has a total of 4 clips, making it the product with the fewest clips (as you can see in the photo above), except for the weaves of course, which have no clips at all.

But how do you properly place a V-part?

Everything you need to get started: 1 rat-tail comb, volume powder or dry shampoo. Use the comb to create a ‘V’. Backcomb the roots of the ‘V’, then apply volume powder or dry shampoo for extra hold. Now you can clip in the V-part 🙂 Do you often wear a side part? Then you can also wear the V-part, but place it further back on your head.

In this video, Marlieke shows how to properly place and use the V-part. Spoiler alert: by combining it with a 40cm volumizer, she doesn’t only achieve volume, but also extra length! Now you may be wondering, what is a volumizer? This is a single weft that adds more volume to your hair. We have it in 3 lengths: the 40cm (16″), which reaches just above your chest. The 50cm (20″), which approximately reaches your lower rib. And the 60cm (24″), which approximately reaches your tailbone. For the most beautiful and natural result, we recommend using the 40cm (16″) or 50cm (20″) volumizer in combination with a V-part. If you already have a set of your own, you can also use some wefts from this set to create a nice blend.

In the photo on the left, the Latte Highlights V-part is combined with 2 Latte Volumizers 50cm (20″) / 60g for extra volume and length. If you are completely satisfied with the length of your hair and just want some extra volume, you can opt for just the V-part. This is shown on the right.

Inspiration

You can never have enough inspiration! Below are some examples of customers wearing our V-part. Do you have any photos of the V-part that we can share here? Please feel free to send them to us at info@zascha.nl. Loading…

Maintenance

All of our products are made of 100% human hair. This means that you can wash, curl, straighten, and even dye them darker to really make them match perfectly. But what is the best way to do this? This blog provides some tips on maintenance, which products we recommend, and of course, how to wash your extensions.

Help with color choice

If you already own some of our extensions, you can assume that the colors match well. However, for some colors such as Misty Morning, Latte Highlights, and Dark Blonde, we made the roots darker for an even more natural result. This way you’ll need to touch up your roots less often at the hairdresser’s 🙂

Are you new here and don’t you have any idea which color is a perfect match for you? We would love to help you find the right color. For this, we need at least 2 photos taken in daylight (but no direct sunlight), with your hair down from the side and back. In this blog, we have listed some tips for taking photos!

If you’re unable to do so, there’s also the possibility to view the colors in person through samples. You can order them here.

Do you have any questions or is something not completely clear? Don’t hesitate and feel free to send us a chat message or an email to info@zascha.nl. Of course, you can also contact us through Facebook or send us a WhatsApp message at 085-2250281! HAPPY NEW HAIR!

When you have thin and/or fine hair, you often dream about just that little extra volume and thickness, right? The volumizer does exactly that! In this blog we explain what a volumizer is, how to easily place it, style it, take care of it and how you can combine it with other Zascha Hair products!

What is a Volumizer?

The volumizer is suitable for adding more thickness and volume in thin/fine or layered hair. If you want to lengthen your hair, we would advice you to choose a full set with multiple wefts for a beautiful blend.

The structure of the hair is natural straight, which means the hair is straight and might get a slight curl after washing. Because the hair is 100% human hair you can straighten, curl, (get them) cut and even dye the extensions darker. Please note, dyeing the extensions is at your own risk. That’s why it’s best to order an additional color sample to test dyeing on.

How do I place the volumizer?

Our volumizers are available in 3 lenghts: 40cm (16″), 50cm (20″) and 60cm (24″). In our example we used the 40cm (16″) volumizer in the color Melted Blonde. Step by step we’re going to explain the easiest way to place the volumizer:

  1. Make sure your hair is completely brushed through.
  2. Use a comb to create a half moon shaped parting from just above the ear to the other side of your head. Clip away the hair above the parting.
  3. Backcomb the roots under the parting and apply a little volume powder or dry shampoo. Place the volumizer in the tease and close the clips.
  4. Let down the hair that was clipped away and style as desired. Et Voila!

In order to create the perfect blend, we advise you to get it cut into shape at your hairdresser’s. This way it will blend beautifully with your own hair so no one will see you’re wearing a little something extra 😉

Combining the volumizer

The fun thing about the volumizer is that you can combine it with many products to make your hair dreams come true. Is your hair on the finer side with lots of layers and do you prefer not to place too many wefts? Then 2 volumizers will definitely meet your wants and needs.

You can also combine the volumizer with a regular set. We created a bundled product for this: the 40cm (16″) / 170g, 50cm (20″) / 220g and 60cm (24″) / 250g sets! These sets all consist of a regular set combined with a volumizer. So that means the 40cm (16″) / 120g + 50g volumizer = 170g etc. These sets are suitable to wear if you either have lots of hair, very full ends or a blunt cut.

For the cherry on top, you can also combine the volumizer with the V-part. The V-part is placed on your crown area and will therefore create a lot of volume on top. If combined with a volumizer, you can also achieve extra length with beautiful full ends. Read more about this in our blog:

Taking care of your Volumizer

Taking care of your volumizer is very easy. Because the product is 100% human hair, you can treat it like your own hair. In this blog you can find all of the tips and tricks you’ll need for washing your volumizer. Good to know: After washing it might seem like the volumizer is a little more voluminous. This is due to the coating slowly wearing off. It’s not a bad thing and you really shouldn’t worry about it. It’s all part of the hair extension journey :). With a proper care and intensive use, our volumizer will last approximately 6 to 8 months.

Hopefully, we’ve been able to provide some useful information about our product. Do you still have questions or hesitations? No worries! Feel free to send an email to info@zascha.nl. Of course you can also contact us through Facebook or send us a whatsapp at 085-2250281! HAPPY NEW HAIR!

It can be quite a challenge to find the perfect color of clip-in hair extensions to match your own (dyed) blonde hair exactly. Is your hair cool toned and are your extensions a little too warm toned or do they have a yellow hue? Don’t worry, you can tone our blonde 100% Indian Human Hair extensions to match the coolness of your own hair. Curious how? With these 5 steps you can easily and quickly tone your extensions with purple shampoo!

From warm to cool. Toning is easily done with purple shampoo (a must have for cool toned blondies!), but you do need to know how. We are going to show you step by step how to give your blonde extensions that beautiful ashy color. Brush your extensions in preparation to prevent tangling and place all of the items you need at the sink: a brush or comb, towel, purple shampoo and conditioner. In this blog we used the L’Oréal Expert from the hair salon. Read further down in the blog about the difference between the No Yellow and a No Orange line. Here we go:

1. Make a bath with purple shampoo

Fill your sink with lukewarm water, add a little purple shampoo and mix with the water so you can no longer see any drops of shampoo floating around in the purple/blue bath.

2. Let’s tone blonde girl

Then, it’s time for the real deal. Grab one weft of extensions and carefully dip it into the purple shampoo bath a few times. You can immediately see the extensions change color and lighten up. Assess the first weft very well before toning your entire set of extensions.

Not sure whether the color is ashy enough? Then, it’s best to let the extensions dry and assess if the color is right. It’s a lot easier to make the extensions ashier than the other way around. Unless you’re going for a smurf look 😉

Please note! Don’t leave your extensions in the purple shampoo bath too long. They can turn grey/blue. So, rather too short, than too long. Having doubts? Dry them first to assess the results.

Do you have a very light colored set? (Melted Blonde, Silver Grey, Misty Morning, Pearl Blonde or Light Blonde). Please note that these colors turn blue more easily. It’s extra important that the water is really warm instead of lukewarm and that the shampoo is dissolved in the water. If this isn’t the case, the color might distribute unevenly and create spots in your extensions.

  • Satisfied with the result? Then you can move on to the next weft. Keep the same rhythm (if you quickly dip them a few times in the bath, do that again).
  • Do you want to clearly see the difference before and after toning? Then don’t wash one weft.

3. Rinse and wring out!

When the extension has been dipped in the batch sufficiently, rinse it with cold water and make sure to get rid of all the shampoo. Wring carefully and set aside. This is how you tone your extensions weft by weft. Try to prevent tangling as much as possible.

4. Apply conditioner and rinse

Toned all wefts? Use a nourishing conditioner and let it absorb. Rinse again with cold water.

5. Air dry

Lay out your extensions out on a towel. It’s best not to blow dry the extensions, to prevent frizz and damage. All you need now is some patience for that beautiful and fresh result. Et voila! After a few hours of drying you’ll have your gorgeous ashblonde locks! Cool right? 😉

No Orange & No Yellow.

If your extensions or natural hair have become slightly warmer over time and you’d like to refresh the color, you can use a No Orange line (to counteract red and orange tones) or a No Yellow line (to combat yellow tones). The No Yellow shampoo is the purple shampoo. We recommend using both the No Yellow and the No Orange shampoos in the same way to prevent the colors from becoming too intense. Here are our favorite No Orange and No Yellow products:

Yes, you made the decision! You want longer and fuller hair by using clip-in extensions. Yay! But then… you have to choose what kind of extensions you want. You can choose from different kinds of clip-in extensions for both a full lengthening and/or added volume. We also offer individual wefts (volumizers). These can be used for extra volume or as an addition to a whole set. Which set is best for you, depends on a few things:

  • Is your hair thin/normal/thick?
  • How is your hair cut?
  • Do you want more volume only or also more length?
  • How long do you want your hair to be?

Which lengths and measurements do Zascha Hair’s clip-in extensions have?

A complete set

A complete set consists of 7 or 8 wefts and is suitable for lengthening. By placing multiple wefts in between your own hair, you create an even distribution over the head for a natural-looking result. A full set also allows you to switch it up sometimes. One way of doing so, is to use the smaller wefts when you want to add more volume to your braids!

The 7-weft sets are suitable for thin-normal, layered hair. If you have thick and/or short hair, the 8-weft set will be a better option.

Volumizer

A volumizer is mainly suitable for added volume on your own hair length. Did you know that extensions also help to hold your curls better? If your curls normally drop out in no time, an extra weft can create a lot more hold! The Volumizer is the extra weft in the 8-weft sets. For example: If you get the 50cm (20″) / 220g set, this consists of the 160g set AND the volumizer. You can also combine the volumizer with a V-part. More about this, further down in the blog.

The Lengths

We offer 3 different lengths: 40cm (16″), 50cm (20″) and 60cm (24″). The 40cm (16″) comes down to the chest, the 50cm (20″) to 5cm (2″) below the chest and the 60cm (24″) to the lower back.

Which hair type do you have?

If your hair is thin or fine, you need less hair for a beautiful lengthening. The 120g in 40cm (16″) or 160g in 50cm (20″) will be sufficient. If your hair is not very fragile you could also go for one of the 8-weft sets. These are a little heavier, so make sure to only use them when your hair is strong and healthy!

How is your hair cut?

Do you have layered hair? Lucky you! You’ll need less hair to blend the extensions well. So imagine: You normally have layers, then the 160g set in 50cm (20″) will be sufficient. But if you wish to achieve an extra full effect, you can also opt for the 220g set in (if your budget allows it). If you have normal hair with a blunt cut, we do advise you to get the 220g set because otherwise the difference between your own hair and the extensions will be visible.

Do you want extra volume only or added length as well?

If you only want some extra volume and thickness in your hair, you can choose our Volumizer. This is an individual weft in different lengths – 40cm (16″), 50cm (20″) & 60cm (24″) – and 25cm (10″) wide. This weft is perfect for extra fullness or as an addition to an existing set. Please note: A volumizer is not suitable for lengthening because it doesn’t create an even distribution on the head.

Before Zascha Hair – After Zascha Hair

Which length do you want?

Do you want a subtle lengthening… or are you going for the dramatic look with hair up to your hips? 😉 On the image at the top of this page you can see the difference in length between the different sets. You can also find many examples and pictures on our social media channels! Please note, when your hair is thin and fragile, it’s better to play safe and go for 50cm (20″)/160g max.

V-part

Another option for thin and fragile hair is our V-part. This weft is placed on your crown area, reducing the strain on your hair because of the weight of the extensions. Initially, the V-part is most suitable for more volume. However, combining it with a volumizer also makes it suitable for lengthening. By placing the V-part on your crown, the clips are less likely to show because the hair of the V-part falls over them on all sides. We simply can’t put all our enthusiasm about this product in one paragraph! Want to know more about the V-part? Check out our blog!

Ponytails & Buns

The Ponytail and Bun are perfect for quickly creating a bun or pony. The Ponytail is 50cm (20″) long and works with velcro and a pin. It’s less suitable for thin and fragile hair. The Bun however, is very much suitable for this type of hair. It’s a little shorter than the ponytail, but wearable in 2 ways (as you can see in the picture on the right). Pinned up in a bun or in a voluminous ponytail. Which one will you choose?

The Braids

Finally, we have the braids. These are perfect for creating beautiful, full braids. Therefore they are a favorite amongst hairstylists and brides-to-be! The Braid is a one-clip with a lot of hair and available in 2 lengths: the 50cm (20″) and the 60cm (24″). This product is often used in combination with a set to create the most gorgeous, often boho-like, hairstyles. All braids (except the Espresso and Jet Black) are mixed colors, so they blend easily with different shades of blonde and brown.

Hopefully, we’ve made it a little easier for you to make a decision. Do you still have hesitations? Feel free to send an email to info@zascha.nl. Of course you can also contact us through Facebook or send us a whatsapp at 085-2250281!

Now we’re curious… Which product are you going for?

Yes, you’ve found the perfect 100% human hair clip-in extensions, worn them a few times and maybe even styled them. Amazing! But then… after a while, just like your own hair, the extensions long for a nourishing wash. Which shampoo and conditioner are best to use for extensions? Of course, we all have our favorites, but we’d love to help you along with some of our favs! ☺️

Do not wash your extensions too often

We recommend not washing your extensions too frequently. The guideline we suggest is to wash them after every 15 to 20 wears. If you regularly use a lot of products on your extensions, such as hairspray, you may need to wash them more often. Only wash your extensions when it’s really necessary to ensure they last as long as possible. Zascha hair extensions naturally have a darker color (Indian hair) and undergo an intensive treatment process in the factory. Therefore, your clip-ins require proper care. For the best results, it’s advisable to use all products from the same line.

Which shampoo do we recommend?

After extensive research and numerous tests on extensions, we discovered Era Tua. Era Tua is a Dutch brand, founded within the hairdressing industry with an eye for detail and a nose for the perfect scent. Not only do extensions respond exceptionally well to these products, but using Era Tua is a wellness experience in itself, and these products are also perfect for your own hair. We offer various lines: Daily Moisture, Colour Protection, Repairing Structure, and Pure Volume. We’re also thrilled to offer No Orange and No Yellow lines to better match your extensions with your natural hair. What the No Orange line does: Protects hair color from turning orange and maintains the ash tone.

Ingrediënts: Grape seed extract, aloe vera, natural active ingredients.

To prevent color from becoming too intense, we recommend reading our blog before use. This color is exclusively for brown hair tones. This No Orange Shampoo pairs perfectly with the Fresh Linen Daily Moisture conditioner.

No Yellow

Have your extensions become slightly more golden/yellow with use? Then this wonderfully scented shampoo is exactly what you need to say goodbye to that unwanted gold tone! The products from Era Tua are also perfect for use on your natural hair!

What it does: Neutralizes unwanted yellow tones in blonde hair with a purple undertone. This shampoo may react more strongly on blonde extensions. We recommend reading the blog before you start using them to prevent the color from becoming too intense. This No Yellow Shampoo pairs perfectly with the Fresh Linen Daily Moisture conditioner.

Ingredients: Grape seed extract & Aloe vera.

Step-by-step

Now that we’ve introduced you to our favorites, it’s SHOWTIME! Take your time, put on some singalongs and go for it!

  • Wet the hair weft by weft with lukewarm/warm water.
  • Apply a small amount of shampoo to your hand. You can adjust the amount as needed, but we recommend not using too much, as everything you apply will need to be rinsed out.
  • Take a weft in your hand, and gently start making circular motions at the top of the hair with your thumbs. Make sure it lathers well and work your way down. Do not rinse out this weft yet; set it aside for a moment.
  • Grab the next weft and repeat this step until you’ve done all of the wefts.
  • Now, carefully start rinsing out each weft one by one until you no longer see any foam.
  • Grab your conditioner and apply it in the same way, but this time don’t start at the roots of the wefts, but to the mid-lengths of the hair, working your way down to the ends.
  • Rinse out the conditioner weft by weft with lukewarm/warm water.
  • Pat your hair dry, avoid rubbing heavily. This will tangle the hair and cause frizz.
  • Detangle the hair by gently combing it with a wide-toothed comb, always starting at the ends and slowly working your way up.

What is the best way to dry my clip-in extensions?

It’s extremely important to let the hair air-dry. This prevents frizz and dehydration. When you’ve finished rinsing the hair, you can pat it dry with a towel or squeeze out the excess water. It’s important to avoid friction by rubbing heavily. This will damage the hair. You can hang them on the Styling Unit or lay them on your heater with a soft towel underneath.

Store, Protect & Travel

Neatly storing your hair is just as important as the proper care. This is why we’ve designed the Velvet Storage Bag. The Velvet Bag is made of a luxury velvet fabric, decorated with golden details. The hanger is made of wood with a soft strip on the inside, to protect your extensions. The luxury travel bag that makes life easier. Travel and store in STYLE!✨

Want the finishing touch for your hair care? Pamper your extensions by leaving the Era Tua conditioner on for 5 to 10 minutes after washing.

Here is a litte how to:

  • Apply the conditioner to the mid-lengths of the hair and work your way down to the ends.
  • Make sure to remove excess moisture from the hair.
  • Leave it on for 5 minutes (or a bit longer!) and then rinse thoroughly.

Speaking of Styling:

Before you dive in with your straightener or curling iron, we recommend applying some Dry Oil Mist in the ends of the hair. The special thing about this product? The Dry Oil Mist is a treatment AND heat protectant in one! This delays the dehydration process in the ends, so you can enjoy your luscious locks even longer. The Dry Oil Mist is 147ml excl. packaging.

The Dry Oil Mist is free of parabens and sulfates, and protects up to 230 degrees. When used in the ends only, it won’t weigh the hair down. What are you waiting for!

Alterna Caviar ANTI-FRIZZ Dry Oil Mist

Our extensions are ‘Natural Straight’, which means that the hair is straight upon delivery but might become slightly wavy after washing. All our extensions are made of 100% real human hair and therefore you can curl and straighten them with curling irons or carmen sets. There are a thousand and one ways to curl and straighten your set. We’ve explained the most used way in this blog:

Finally

Hopefully, we’ve been able to educate you a little on the world of haircare products. We are very enthusiastic about the above mentioned products. If you prefer to use other products, please make sure to use a nourishing shampoo. We definitely recommend using shampoos  with ingredients such as Argan oil! Do you use a shampoo with keratine for your own hair? Avoid using this for your extensions. We’ve learned from experience that our extensions don’t react well to this.

December is upon us again and you know what that means, party!!! Of course we have Christmas and all the parties, around New Years Eve. We assume you have been shopping for sparkles like crazy. But… what to do with your hair? At least as important!

So that calls for at least 3, no, 4 (25 and 26 December) hairstyles! And of course Zascha has taken that into account. Especially for you we have created 4 festive hairstyles. Look and learn!

“So pour yourself a hot chocolate with whipped cream (and marshmallows) and get inspired!”

Difficult? Nah! But just to be sure, we’ve also record some “how to” tutorials for you. So pour yourself a hot chocolate with whipped cream (and marshmallows) and get inspired!

1. The Crownbraid

Party hairstyle #1 is the beautiful Crown braid by Sabrina Dijkman. Have you been binge-watching Reign, The Crown & Victoria like crazy and absolutely loving all those regal updo’s that keep passing on your screen? Then this is the hairstyle for you! Easy, fast and very very royal!

For this hairstyle you need 4 small rubber bands (preferably in your own hair color) and a lot of bobby pins. Make sure you have a big can of hairspray! Tip: Finish off your crown braid with a statement tiara and we guarantee all eyes will be on you all evening!

“Easy, quick and very véry royal!”

Not very good with braiding? Then ask your sister, friend or mother if they would like to give you a hand. To make it super easy for you, we recorded a “How to” video of this hairstyle just for you. Good luck!

2. Boho braids

These boho braids are always a winner. During a festival, in combination with some beautiful boho jewelry. Or in everyday life, during an intense workout session for example, where you want your hair out of your face but really want to impress that one hunk who effortlessly pushes away 100kg. Or, during a fancy party. Christmas for example, or New Year’s Eve! This hairstyle in combination with some highlighter and a set of beautiful earrings is a real statement hairstyle. You will leave a smashing impression without a doubt!

Very useful: small rubber bands in your own hair colour. Also make sure you have your curling iron so you can curl your face framing pieces!

“This hairstyle, when paired with some highlighter and a set of gorgeous earrings, is a real statement hairstyle.”

This hairstyle is perfect for wearing your most beautiful earrings with. Don’t you have any fun earrings? You can shop a nice set that you can’t go wrong with at Zara (Statement earrings Zara €12,95).

3. Gatsby glam

A beautiful wave, sparkling hair jewelry and volume. A lot of volume! This hairstyle looks great with your glitter dress. Even better with a bare shoulder! For this hairstyle you need a curling iron, a brush, volume powder and some pretty hairpins! Zara and H&M usually have some very nice sets!

What you need to do: Wash your hair the night before so it’s nice and clean and add some volume mousse on towel dry hair. Let it soak in overnight. The morning after, comb it through and start curling.

“Once you’ve curled all your hair, let your curls cool down for a while (start your makeup in the meantime).”

Then wrap big strands of hair around the barrel and hold for 10 seconds. After removing the barrel, don’t let the curl drop immediately but hold it in your hand for another 10 seconds. Once you’ve curled all your hair, let your curls cool down for a while (start your makeup in the meantime).

After 15 to 20 minutes, gently comb through the curls with a wide-toothed brush. Now create a parting above your right or left eye, depending on which way you want your quiff to fall, and then pick up your volume powder. Now gently take the top layer of your quiff, and add some volume powder at your roots. Drop your quiff and style. Slide the other side of your hair behind your ear and secure it with your dainty hairpins. The more the merrier! A little hairspray to keep everything in place and you’re good to go!

4. The Glam Braid

When you are a little clumsy, (like us) you might prefer to have your hair out of your face during all those fancy dinners. Then this glam braid is the solution for you! Super easy and super stylish! For this braid, use our clip-in braid, available in 2 lengths and several very blendable colors.

Because the glam braid is a little tricky to explain (don’t worry, absolutely not tricky to make) we made a “how to” video especially for you. If you have any questions after watching the video, about the haircut or about the products that are used, please feel free to contact us.

“Your best friend for this masterpiece is a good hairspray.”

For this glam braid, our new “Clip in braid” is a must have! Your best friend for this masterpiece is a good hairspray. Our favorite: the L’Oréal Paris Elnett Satin hairspray. When your braid is done you can style it with some pretty hairpins.

Cheers to your never ending good hair days ✨
