Our clip-in extensions are wefts made of 100% Remy Human Hair with country of origin: India. Attached to these wefts are silicone coated clips. The silicone slip prevents the extensions from sliding out or damaging your own hair. They are easy to place and blend beautifully with your own hair. This way you can create longer hair but also add more volume, lowlights or highlights to your hair. Because the extensions are easy to place and remove, they’re ideal to wear every once in a while or for special occasions such as weddings or other parties.
The clip-in extensions are easy to place yourself. You attach the extensions at the root of your hair and place the rest of your hair over it. The clip-in extensions are made of real human hair. This hair is very dark originally and therefore receives an extensive treatment in the factory to give it the right texture and color. This is why the clip-ins won’t last as long as your own hair. With the proper care and regular use, they will last about 6-8 months on average.
Weaves are wefts without clips, suitable to permanently place in the hair with braids or micro rings. To enjoy your weave to the fullest, we recommend to have them placed by a professional.
The weaves are more valuable because they require a more extensive treatment process. A couple of things determine whether the hair is suitable for weaves:
*The hair has never been dyed before donation and before we dye it in the desired color.
*The treatment and dyeing process is done in a very special and gentle way. This ensures the hair cuticles to largely remain intact, resulting in longer lasting hair.
*There is no coating on the hair, which is the case for our clip-ins.
*Last but not least: the weave hair comes from young donors (men and women up to 30 years old).

If properly placed and cared for, the weaves will last about 9 to 12 months.
We always recommend having your weaves placed by someone you trust and who is skilled and trained in placing weaves. If you live in the Amsterdam area, we definitely recommend iSalonn. We have different lengths, thicknesses and combinations. All our extensions are double drawn and therefore have full ends. The 40cm (16″) sets are available in 120 and 170 grams, the 50cm (20″) sets in 160 and 220 grams, and the 60cm (24″) sets in 180 and 250 grams. The thicker the set, the more beautiful the lengthening. In general, the lighter sets are suitable for lengthening and extra volume in thin/fine, layered hair. The heavier sets are more suitable for short or thick hair. Additionally, we have the volumizer weft in all lengths (40cm (16″), 50cm (20″) and 60cm (24″)). This is a single weft, suitable for creating extra volume and thickness at your own hair length.
You most definitely can! We even recommend it. Our advice is to wash them after 15 to 20 uses. If you use a lot of products however, or if you feel like the set starts to tangle a little, a nice wash with gentle nourishing shampoo and conditioner is more than welcome. All our extensions are ‘Natural Straight’. This means that after washing they get slightly wavy. All our extensions are made of 100% human hair, so you can straighten them, but also curl them with a curling iron or carmen set.

Because our hair is 100% human hair, it’s possible to dye the extensions. Please note that you can only dye them darker. Due to the dyeing process the hair has already been through, you can’t dye them lighter. After dying, the right to warranty lapses, so always try out the dye on a color sample. Here are some tips for the dare devils who are taking the plunge: Always use professional hair dye and make sure to wash the extensions before dyeing. This will help the dye to attach better and more evenly.
Our extensions are all made from real human hair, so you can treat them with purple shampoo to make them a little more ashy. Extensions can react faster than normal hair however, so it’s best to dilute the shampoo in water. Learn how to do this, in this blog. Doing it this way, will prevent the shampoo from reacting too fast, and achieving the most beautiful result.
If you have full ends or a blunt cut, it can be a little harder to blend your hair with the extensions. These tips might be of help:
- Create a little braid from the bottom layer of your hair (in your neck) and pin against your head. This way you can hide your short ends for a more beautiful end result.
- If you get your extensions cut into shape at your hairdresser’s, they will match your hair cut better, creating a better blend.
- Curl the extensions after they’ve been put into place and curl them together with your own hair. This will make the hair flow into each other more beautifully.
- Lastly, you could thin out your ends (just the ends) or get layers.
The last option works best, but requires a change in your hair cut. If you prefer not to do this, the other 3 options work perfectly fine as well!
Another possible reason for difficulty with blending could be that the set isn’t full enough. If this is the case, you can opt to purchase a volumizer for a better blend.
Unfortunately, sometimes your order is not quite right the first time. We are happy to accept returns if you’re unsatisfied with the color, thickness or length of the hair.
If you ordered a multiple weft set: Please make sure not to break the hygiene seal. This is a prerequisite for returning your extensions. If you ordered a single weft set (e.g. volumizer, braid, ponytail etc.): Please make sure the round card and tag are still attached to the extensions. You may take the hair out of the net, but the extensions can’t be worn, washed or styled.

Once we’ve received your package, it will be processed within a week.
Unfortunately, exchanging your extensions is not possible. You can, of course, place a new (second) order and return your first order. The original order will be refunded within a week.

If you have a complaint, we are happy to help you until you are completely satisfied. The hair is a natural product and every now and then contains hair of poorer quality. Of course we provide a 2-month warranty on your purchase. You can reach out via the contact form to inform us about the issue. We will send you a shipping label for the return of your set. Once we’ve received the return, we will examine the extensions and provide an appropriate solution.
Very rarely, our messages end up in the spam folder. If you haven’t received your confirmation email, chances are, you can find it there. Orders placed on business days before 16:00 (4 pm) will be handed over to PostNL the same day (IF in stock). In our experience, orders usually arrive within 1 to 2 business days. For orders from Belgium, this is 1 to 3 business days. After placing an order, you always receive an email with track and trace code so you can follow your parcel. If you wish to order an out of stock item, it will take 4 weeks max before we can deliver again. Should a situation occur in which this changes, we’ll always keep you posted.
If you wish to order a product labeled ‘backorder’ or ‘backordered’, this means that the product is currently out of stock. In most cases, it takes up to 4 weeks before we receive the product from our supplier again. Should this change, we will always keep you posted if you wish. To be able to help, we need a clear picture in natural daylight, ideally from the back (crown to ends). It’s also possible to order color samples. These are little slips of hair which you can use to assess the color in real life.
