The world is waiting for beautiful hair. We are absolutely convinced of that. Not because beautiful hair will save or improve the world, but because it gives those who do just that little extra confidence to get the job done. Our clip-ins are an extra touch of happiness in everyday life.
Marlieke started working on Zascha Hair in 2011 at her kitchen table after having ordered clip-in extensions abroad.
A beautiful product. And since real human haired clip-in extensions were barely available in the Netherlands back then, it seemed to be exactly what many women were waiting for. Thanks to Marlieke’s growing curiosity, we’ve been able to add permanent extensions to our assortment as well.

Hi, I'm the owner of Zascha Hair. I'm so glad you're visiting my site! I handle marketing, purchasing/product development, and everything else involved in running a webshop.
We are always busy improving and expanding Zascha. We seek collaborations with other brands, have moved from an attic room to a real office, and the team now consists of four ladies who are just as passionate about the brand as I am. Together, we do everything to make sure you feel super happy, with the help of a little extra hair or just extremely good service. Happy shopping!

Since 2018, I've had the pleasure of counting Zascha among my clients. I first met Marlieke when I was preparing for a Miss pageant. Looking back, I'm not entirely sure why I participated – my nerves were out of control! When Mar asked if I would consider wearing Zascha Hair for the show, I was blown away by the feeling of confidence that came with it. It's so amazing to see (and feel) how much your hair can do for you!
I didn't win the Miss pageant, but I do get to work for Zascha on a freelance basis. My responsibilities include maintaining the website, writing product descriptions/blogs, and assisting wherever needed. Since 2020, as a Bridal Hairstylist, I've been completely in love with Zascha Hair extensions. Both my brides and I are delighted by the confidence we gain from Zascha's beautiful long locks. When I got to know the ladies behind the brand, I knew I would feel right at home in this super friendly team! As a jack-of-all-trades, I will mainly be involved in customer service, website translation (yes, former English teacher here!), and a bit of social media.

Hi! My name is Ilham, and alongside my Applied Psychology studies, I'm a very enthusiastic member of Team Zascha. My first encounter with Zascha was quite a while ago; Marlieke, feeling unwell one day, asked if I could drop off some packages for her. Why me? Because we're neighbours! I met the rest of the team during a shoot, without knowing that a year later, they would become my 'colleagues.' (In quotes, because it certainly doesn't feel like that!) I was quite nervous, but Zascha is full of love and warmth, which quickly made me feel at home.

Perhaps the most important employee at Zascha Hair: Kimmie the office cat. Every time there's even a hint of stress, we can cuddle it all away.
Kim also makes sure we take our breaks on time. Her work method? Simply lying on your mouse or keyboard. Nothing is more efficient! Her always-hungry nature also ensures we get enough exercise in the form of fetching food, treats, and water.

How to: Place the Flip-in
Easy-peasy FLOEP! Full hair, with an extension. Yes, really, the Flip-in is that easy to use! This product is the perfect solution for ladies who are prone to headaches, or when you're in a hurry ;) In this blog, we'll tell you, among other things: What is a flip-in, everything about placing the flip-in, what are the benefits of a flip-in, and how do I care for my flip-in? What is a Flip-in? The flip-in (also known as halo hair) is a product that you can secure in 2 ways with us: With thread and 5 clips, or with just the clips. This product looks most natural on hair that has layers or thin ends. For the hair types mentioned above, this product provides volume and length. If you do not have layers and/or full ends, you can only use the flip-in for more volume at your own length and not for extensions. Our flip-ins are made of 100% Indian Human hair and are of double-drawn quality. This means that there are few shorter hairs incorporated, and the flip-ins have beautiful full ends. This allows the flip-in extensions to blend perfectly with your own hair! How to place the Flip-in? Like everything in life, it's a bit awkward the first time. We'll explain everything step by step to make it as easy as possible! Step 1: Using a tail comb or your fingers, create an oval shape from your parting at the top, all around your head. Clip the top layer of your hair (the hair that will go over the flip-in) securely. You can do this with, for example, our Zascha Croc Clip.Step 2: Place the flip-in over the oval shape, and see how much you need to adjust the thread until it fits you perfectly. Don't clip anything yet. Step 3: Once the thread length is to your liking, you can firmly crimp the bead closed with pliers. Make sure you still have enough thread at the end and squeeze it really tight. Do you want to be sure you have good pliers? Then order our special Microring Pliers.Step 4: Cut off the rest of the thread as short as desired.Step 5: Comb or brush your own hair over the thread. This way, you ensure that the thread is no longer visible. Please note: only do this towards the side of your head. If you comb or brush backward, you will pull out the flip-in.Step 6: When the flip-in is comfortable, clip the clips securely, and you're ready to shine! Do you have somewhat smoother hair? Then you can apply some volumizing powder or dry shampoo to where the clips are. Do you want to be 100% sure that it won't go anywhere? For example, during shoots, weddings, or festivals, you can apply a small amount of backcombing where the clips are. After and before flip-in Rooted Hazel Caramel 50cm/140g All flip-ins come with a few loose threads and crimp beads so you always have enough to get everything out of your hair! In our assortment, we offer:Flip-in 40cm/120g: this often reaches approximately your bra strap.Flip-in 50cm/140g: this reaches approximately your lowest rib. This product is also super easy to combine with: A Zascha Hair V-part Our Fill-ins for extra volume on the side of your head Our Clip in Fringe for a completely different look in an instant The V-part is very suitable to combine with a flip-in for volume like you only see in Hollywood. Because you place the V-part higher, it will appear slightly shorter. Do you have the 40cm flip-in? Then the 50cm V-part matches. If you have the 50cm flip-in, then the 60cm V-part is a nice addition. Flip-in 50cm Flip-in 50cm + V-part 60cm What is the difference between a volumizer and a flip-in? The biggest difference between the flip-in and the volumizer is the weight and the attachment. The volumizer of 40cm weighs 50g, and the 50cm volumizer weighs 60g. The flip-in is therefore much fuller, which also allows it to provide length. Because both the flip-in and the volumizer are wider wefts, they are less suitable for use when you like to wear your hair up. In that case, it is best to go for a set of clip-ins consisting of multiple wefts. A very big advantage of the flip-in is that it can be put in remarkably quickly, and that it (when placed correctly) stays super securely in place and is invisible! Good to know: You can remove the Flip-in from its packaging to assess the color, length, and quality. If the color or length is not quite what you wanted and the tag is still attached?
