Okay, you've decided! You want longer and fuller hair using clip-in extensions. Yay! But then... you still have to choose the right kind of extensions. You can choose from various types of clip-in extensions and permanent extensions. Now, we start with the question, what are your wishes and expectations? Do you want length, volume, or both :)!
Once you know this, you're halfway there, and we'll get to work for you. We'll look at the most suitable product for your hair, keeping your wishes in mind. The following points are important here:
- Do you have thin/normal/thick hair?
- How long is your own hair?
- How is your hair cut?
- Do you often wear your hair down, or sometimes up?
It's always helpful for us to see some photos of your hair. In our blog about color advice, we provide tips on how to best take photos. Important: Our color advice is based on the photos you send. Do you feel the photo doesn't match your real hair color? Then try to describe your hair color. Do you want to buy extensions for your wedding? Feel free to send an inspiration photo too. This way, we can be sure we're on the same page regarding wishes and expectations.
Zascha Hair lengths
You can choose from 4 lengths: 30cm, 40cm, 50cm and 60cm. The 30cm reaches approximately 10cm past the top of the shoulder. The 40cm reaches the chest, the 50cm reaches 10cm below the chest, and the 60cm reaches your lower rib.
What are the dimensions of Zascha Hair clip-in extensions?
A complete set:
A complete set consists of 7 or 8 wefts and is suitable for lengthening. By placing multiple wefts between your own hair, you achieve a beautiful distribution across your head and a natural result. A complete set of clip-ins also allows for more versatility. You can use the narrower wefts for more volume in braids, or you can insert them upside down if you want an updo.
The 7-weft sets are suitable for thin to normal hair with layers. Do you have thick and/or short hair that is cut to one length? Then you should opt for an 8-weft set!
Invisible Clip-in
We also have Invisible Clip-in extensions in our assortment. Due to the ultra-thin base, this product is perfectly suited for thinner hair at the roots. We currently have the 40cm/120g and the 50cm/160g in stock. These products will provide length and more volume for thin hair or hair with many layers. The base of this product has a different finish than our Classic Clip-in. You can read more about the differences between these products in this blog.
Volumizer
A volumizer is used solely to add thickness to your own hair. You should always choose the length that most closely matches your natural hair length. The Volumizer is the extra weft in the 8-weft sets. For example, if you have the 50cm 220g set, it consists of a 160g set plus the volumizer. You can also combine the volumizer with, for example, a V-part. You can read more about this further down in the blog.
Even better: Are you completely happy with the volume of your own hair, but struggle to keep curls/waves in it? The volumizer provides extra 'hold', making curls last better and longer. You can find more information about this in our blog about curling and styling.
V-part
Another option for thin and brittle hair is our V-part. You place this on your crown, which further reduces the strain on your hair from the weight of the extensions. The V-part is primarily suitable for adding volume, but you can also combine it with a volumizer for length. Because you place the V-part on your crown, there's less risk of the clips becoming visible as the V-part hair falls over them. The Flip-in
As a Zascha employee, you're not really supposed to have a favorite. Still, this product is definitely in my top 3! This Flip In is suitable for creating more volume AND length. It looks best on thin hair, hair with many layers, and hair that isn't cut to one length at the ends. Thanks to its practically invisible thread and wide band with clips, you get results in no time, and it's super comfortable to wear.
The Flip-in on its own is not suitable for lengthening hair with full ends or a bob. However, you can combine it with a V-part for added length.

Ponytails & buns
The Ponytail and Bun are very suitable for quickly creating a full bun or ponytail. The Ponytail is 50cm long and works with Velcro and a slide. This is less suitable for thin and brittle hair. The bun, on the other hand, is suitable for this. It is a bit shorter than the ponytail, but you can wear it in two ways as you can see in the photo. Styled as a bun, or as a full ponytail. Which one will you choose?
Fill Ins
A mini set that can be used to great effect! These 4 wefts (2 x two clips, and 2 x one clip weft) provide more volume and a better transition for the extensions. The Fill-ins combine well with other products. The most common combinations?
- The Volumizer
- The Flip-in
- V-part
Extra nice: The Fill-ins are often purchased in a different color to create more depth or a Face Frame effect. This way, you can play a bit with your hair color without having to dye it. For the best result, we recommend having these Fill-ins cut to your liking by a hairdresser.
Weaves, suitable for permanent attachment
If you're looking for extensions you can wear 24/7, we lovingly recommend our weaves. These weaves have undergone a different treatment, making them suitable for sleeping and showering.
We are especially proud of our Secret Wefts! These extensions have an intensely thin base, allowing you to wear your hair up without the weft peeking through. Want to read more about our weaves? Check out the blog!
The braids
Finally, we have the braids. These are suitable for creating a beautiful, full braid and are therefore a popular product chosen by hairstylists or ladies getting married. The Braid is a single clip with a lot of hair, and is available in 50cm. The Braid is often used in combination with a desired set to create the most beautiful, often boho-style hairstyles. All braids (except for Espresso) come in a mixed color, so they blend nicely with various shades of brown and blonde.
