Festival hair that stays put all day!
Our love for festivals is HUGE! Reason enough to go "all out" with your hair! As true festival lovers, we'd love to help you with some inspiration.
A top look requires a lot of time, effort, and planning: What should you wear, what will the weather be like, how should you do your hair, and how on earth will your hair stay perfect all day long??? Unfortunately, we can't do much about the weather, and you'll have to pick out your clothes yourself. BUT we can certainly help you with your hair!

Tip: At Coachella and on social media, you always see everyone parading around with beautiful full beach waves, but honestly, at a real (good) party, things are quite different. Think beer showers and porta-potty visits! Therefore, it might be more practical to wear your hair half up!
Okay, you're ready!
Hopefully, we've been able to help you well, and you've received your set in time for your party. Because we know; "Life's a party, but you have to hang the streamers yourself." Or in this case, "clip them in"! Good preparation is half the battle, especially if you're going to a festival/party. We recommend backcombing the roots of your hair well, and applying a small pinch of volume powder. This ensures that the clips have a good grip and won't slip easily. It's best to do this section by section.

But how?!
Again, a good start is half the battle. It's important that when you style your hair, it is completely dry. Besides volume powder, you can also opt for a volume mousse. A tip from the pros is to apply volume mousse after washing and blow-dry thoroughly. This will make your hair a bit stiffer, which helps curls and updos stay in place better.

The tighter the curl, the longer it will last. With different sized curling irons, you can create an endless number of hairstyles. We always recommend not setting your curling iron hotter than 180 degrees, and always using a heat protector. This applies to both your own hair and your extensions. 1. Curling Extensions
Before you curl your hair with a curling iron, it's handy to spray the strand with (liquid) hairspray and secure it with a clip after curling. You can find more tips on this in our blog.

Aftercare!
When you're recovering while your paracetamol is dissolving in your bloody mary, you certainly don't want any obligations or aftercare. If you have good products, this isn't necessary at all. Wash the set (after about 12 wears or 1 festival) with Alterna Caviar Moisture Shampoo, and rinse them with Alterna Caviar Moisture Conditioner. The set will be extra grateful if you let the conditioner sit for 5 to 10 minutes.
