If you have thin and/or fine hair, you often dream of just a little extra thickness and volume, right? The volumizer does exactly that! In this blog, I will explain what a volumizer is, how to easily apply, style, and care for it, and how you can combine it with other Zascha Hair products!
What is a Volumizer?
A volumizer is a single weft 25cm wide. The weft has 5 clips, is made of 100% Human hair and is of double drawn quality. This means that few shorter hairs are incorporated into the weft, giving it beautifully full ends. This makes the volumizer's effect even greater!
The volume weft is suitable for adding more thickness and volume if you have thin/fine hair, or hair with many layers. Would you prefer to create length with extensions? Then we recommend choosing a full set with multiple wefts for a beautiful blend.
The hair texture is natural straight, meaning the hair is straight. After washing, it may develop a slight wave. Because it's 100% human hair, you can have it cut and even dyed darker. Please note that dyeing is at your own risk. It's best to order a color sample to test the dye first. You can also straighten and curl the hair.
How do I apply the volumizer?
Our volumizers come in 4 lengths: 30cm, 40cm, 50cm, and 60cm. In our example, we used the 40cm volumizer in the color Melted Blonde. We will explain step-by-step how to easily apply the volumizer:
- Ensure your own hair is completely brushed through.
- Using a comb, create a parting that starts at the top of your ear, but curve it slightly around your head to form a crescent shape. Secure the rest of your hair in, for example, a bun or with our Zascha Croc Clips.
- Tease the roots under the parting, and apply a small amount of volumizing powder or dry shampoo to the teased area. Place the volumizer into the teased section and clip it shut.
- Release the rest of your hair from the bun, and style it completely as desired. Et Voila!
To make the volumizer blend as beautifully as possible, we recommend having it trimmed by a hairdresser. This way, it will fall perfectly with your own hair, and no one will know you're wearing a hairpiece :)
Combining a volumizer
The great thing about the volumizer is that you can combine it with many products to make your hair dreams 100% come true. Do you have thin hair with many layers and don't like using many wefts? Then 2 volumizers will certainly meet your needs!
You can also combine the volumizer with a set. We have created a bundled product for this: 30cm 140g, 40cm 170g, 50cm 220g or the 60cm 250g sets! These sets all consist of a set combined with a volumizer. For example, you have the 40cm 120g + 50g volumizer = 170g, and so on! These sets are suitable to wear if you have a lot of your own hair, with full ends or a straight hairstyle.
To top it all off (literally), you can also combine the volumizer with the V-part. The V-part is placed on your crown and thus provides a lot of volume on the head. Caring for your Volumizer
Caring for your volumizer is super simple. Because the product is 100% human hair, you can treat it like your own hair. In this blog, we have listed all tips and tricks for washing your volumizer. It's good to know that after washing, the volumizer may appear a bit fuller. This is due to the coating slowly wearing off. This is perfectly normal, and you don't need to be alarmed. It's all part of wearing hair extensions :). With proper care and intensive use, our volumizer lasts approximately 6 to 8 months.
